Matt Handcock

Director 

Originally from Tokoroa, Matt resides in Cambridge with his wife Hannah. Their seven year old twins Sophie and Beauden attend Cambridge Primary School, three year old Chloe attends The Forest ECE and baby Phoebe is at home with mum. As if four kids isn’t enough to keep them busy, two German Shepherds and a handful of farm animals complete the tribe. Outside of work Matt enjoys endurance racing in a track specced 135i BMW, keeping active with water sports on the lake, mountain biking, cheering on the kids at weekend sports and social gatherings with family and friends. 

Matts core values of hard work, integrity and total commitment underpin all of his undertakings and his eye for design and long-standing relationships in the construction industry have proven to be a great asset. An affable person with brilliant communication skills and a highly professional business approach, Matt is well respected for his ability to provide sound advice and has an in-depth understanding of the needs of his clients. Having built and developed numerous properties for both investment and his own family, Matt knows what it's like to be on the other side of the fence and is proud of the reputation and company that he has built.

Chris

Foreman

Brad is our overachiever at Asset Building, he’s not only a qualified builder but also a qualified joiner and glazier! Brad has nineteen years experience in the trade industry and is an absolute perfectionist when it comes to finishings.

In his downtime Brad loves spending time with his newest addition Frank, his loyal staffie Freddie (who can often be found onsite), his fiancé Erin, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Chris has twenty five years of experience in the building industry bringing a wealth of expertise to the Asset team. Chris is the definition of a people person with a natural talent for building connections.

In his downtime Chris loves supporting his three girls with football, netball, gymnastics and futsal. He also enjoys hunting, mountain biking and has been involved with the Hamilton car club for over 10 years.

Cam

Qualified Builder

Cam has nine years of building experience and is an expert when it comes to new builds. He has a passion for building and is a valued member of the Asset team.

In his downtime Cam loves all things fishing. From the lake to the river to the ocean, you’ll find him and his partner road tripping around the country, camping and enjoying time with family and friends.

Ryan

Qualified Builder

Ryan has six years of building experience and is an expert when it comes to the finer details. He has an exceptional talent for all of our fiddley jobs and is a master when it comes to finishings.

In his downtime Ryan loves all things outdoors, you’ll find him up the mountain snowboarding, mountain biking remote tracks and fishing around the North Island.
